DIY Jewelry Ideas

I love jewelry, especially jewelry that is quirky and unique. Here is my problem though, I hate spending money on jewelry because I am such a klutz I usually lose it or break it. I also love to create, so I thought why not make my own jewelry? Ill post some of my creations later, but for now, here are some fun ideas i found across the web to get you inspired!

YOLO

I have been hearing this saying non stop on twitter and thought it was some stupid rap line...Once i found out the meaning I loved it, "You Only Live Once". Thats my life motto! I had to make a design to hang in my room :)

Monday Inspiration

I have come to the realization that no matter what happens, Mondays are rough, and usually kind of suck. Its the start of my week, and its the day I go back to work and daily life after weekends spent with my family. I need a little boost on Mondays, and I found this great poem. Thought I would share it with those of you that share my same diagnosis of the Monday Blues :) Enjoy!

You make a difference

What you do makes a difference. It may not seem like much, but it is.
What you do has an influence that goes far beyond you. What you do is an important part of the fabric of life.
The world around you is not only your home. It is your responsibility.
The way you see the world plays an important part in what the world becomes. Your vision for the future helps to create the future.
Live with hope, with joy, with love, and you add hope, joy, and love to the world. Live with honesty and integrity, and you give the power of truth to all of life.
Day in and day out, what you do truly matters, more than you can ever know. Live each moment as though what you do changes the world, because it surely does.
— Ralph Marston

My Favorite Quote :)

Not sure who its by, but I have always LOVED it- such an amazing statement about a life well lived.

“To laugh often and much; To appreciate beauty; To find the best in others; To give of one’s self; To leave the world a better place; To have played and laughed with enthusiasm and sung with exultation; To know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived ----- This is to have succeeded.”

Motivation

Just browsing around on my usual craft DIY sites, and I came across “Vintage Revival”. Not only is she SUPER talented, but smart too.
While reading her life story, I came across this quote she had written:

Even when you are going through a hard time in your life just know that its PERFECT.  Its perfect, because it is in a series of events that will take you where you eventually need to go”

This is my new favorite quote, times are hard financially for us right now with my job change, but I know it will all be worth it in the end. Its funny how when you are worried, or having a bad day, God always shows himself and lets you know everythings going to be okay,
Like this quote for example, Who would have thought I would come across this on a craft site? Amazing.

Visit Vintage Revival’s site here, she is awesome!
